A rapper, a deejay and a selectah but first and foremost an MC. KC always got something going on... if it ain't a live gig with the Force, it's a solo one, or a dancehall that needs that Resolute fireworks sound!
Emcee, deejay and part time selector King Chris is that multi talented sound killa you know will get ya fiesta started. With a vide range of skills he has been performing at venues since junior high school. From the beginning he has been committed to breaking down his emcee skills in a melodic style. He is one of the founding figures behind Soundvalley crew Tour De Force and is deejaying in the feared and respected reggae soundsystem: Resolute Sound (with partner Gurra).
In 2004 King Chris left his native Soundvalley for the capital of neighbouring country Norway: Oslo city. After releasing his solo debut "The Crowning" (a straight up true school flavoured release, produced by Freddy FLX and Umeå dj/producer Chefen), Chris was seeking new means of expression. He discovered that he shared an interest in reggae music with flatmate Gurra. The two of them started spinning 7" at various clubs around the city. King Chris developed a deejay style of his own during these days. Curfew steppaz (as the sound was dubbed) was joined by a couple more members and kept on doing their thing for a couple of years.
Returning to Soundvalley in 2006 King Chris made a contribution to the Supersci mix-tape "Cutting down trees" alongside Supersci emcee Mr Noun and teenage companion-in-rhyme Enzyme. The song "Tossing and Turning" became a starting point for King Chris and Enzyme, they went back to their roots of boom bap hip hop and recorded their EP "Got Flow EP", with Freddy FLX on producing and fellow rapper ALX.
Since then King has been touring Sweden with Random Bastards, released the Flyphonic produced EP "Blood, Sweat and Tears, maintained in his soundsystem squashing up soundbwoys whenever the chance has been given and recorded classic material in Swedish with Tour de Force.

Vi kommer bjuda på en explosivt set med Penseldrag Ep plus xtra mos. KOm i tid för att hinna se båda akter, eftersom Stadshuset stänger 02 så tippar jag på att vi spelar relativt tidigt!
